Scope of Work: NPower is seeking a Department Training Coordinator to support Constellation’s East Coast and Mid-Atlantic nuclear stations. The contractor will primarily serve as the DTC (Department Training Coordinator) for OP&S departments and sites.
This role involves a combination of administrative and instructional duties, such as assigning qualifications and training in LMS (Learning Management System) and NANTeL, proctoring CBTs (Computer-Based Trainings), performing administrative duties, and facilitating meetings. As a dedicated resource during the reduction in force, this role will support the instructors by allowing them to focus on performing the SAT/ADDIE process and completing their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign qualifications and training in LMS and NANTeL for OP&S.
- Proctor CBTs in NANTeL and LMS, ensuring that all required training is completed.
- Process new employees HR-AA-4000 forms and associated NERC forms to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Assist with NANTeL and LMS administrative duties, providing support to students and addressing issues as needed.
- Run LMS reports, tracking training progress and compliance.
- Facilitate TRCs (Training Review Committees) by creating meeting agendas, documenting meeting minutes, writing, and tracking training actions.
- Monitor procedure compliance and ensure all departmental training meets regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Nuclear experience.
- Previous experience as a Training Instructor, particularly in a DTC or training coordinator role.
- Familiarity with LMS (Learning Management System), NANTeL, and CBTs, with a strong understanding of administrative functions related to training.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, document actions, and track training compliance.
