Scope of Work: NPower is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Installation Representative (LIR) to provide backshift support for the Unit Auxiliary Transformer (UAT) Replacement Project during the C1R22 outage. This role requires strong leadership, coordination skills, and technical expertise to ensure smooth execution of construction and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Oversight:
- Oversee maintenance activities during backshift operations to support the replacement and testing of Clinton Power Station's UAT Transformers.
- Ensure all work adheres to station procedures, safety protocols, and project schedules.
- Project Support:
- Assist the Day Shift LIR during pre-outage preparations (August – September) to gain full familiarity with the project scope and requirements.
- Transition to backshift operations during the C1R22 outage to provide leadership and support for all construction and testing activities.
- Monitor and report progress, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
Position Timeline:
- Early August – September: Support Day Shift LIR during pre-outage preparations to gain project familiarity.
- C1R22 Outage Period: Transition to backshift operations to lead and oversee night-shift activities through project completion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, construction oversight, or project coordination in the power generation industry, preferably in a nuclear setting.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong understanding of power plant operations and transformer replacement projects.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in work management systems and tools used in power plant operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Clinton Power Station systems and procedures.
- Prior experience with transformer testing or similar large-scale projects.
