Scope of Work: NPower is seeking two experienced Task Managers to support the UAT Replacement Project at Clinton Nuclear Power Station. These individuals will play a critical role in providing field oversight of contractors and assisting LIRs with construction activities, focusing on backshift operations during the C1R22 outage. This project includes the replacement and testing of Clinton’s new UAT Transformers. Nuclear industry experience is required to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee contractors performing work on the UAT Replacement Project to ensure adherence to nuclear safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Assist LIRs in managing construction activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and outage timelines.
- Join the project team in late July to gain familiarity with the project scope, activities, and nuclear safety protocols.
- Transition to backshift operations during the outage to provide oversight and resolve emergent issues.
Qualifications:
- Nuclear experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant utility business experience, including work in transmission, distribution, gas, or substation operations.
- Familiarity with Clinton Power Station operations and regulatory procedures.
