A leading US manufacturer of inkjet solutions used in the Packaging industry is looking for a Service Manager to work out of their main facility in Dover, PA. Their equipment is used heavily in food, medical, and pharma markets. Mostly bar code and serialization solutions. They are looking for someone to manage a field tech team of 20. Some work out of the main office, others fully remote. A strong technical background is expected. Ideal candidate will have an Engineering degree. You will be responsible for team leadership and training of technicians. And you are involved heavily with customer support. Logistics of service teams, parts and equipment do fall under your supervision.
Ideal candidate is anyone working in field service in a leadership role. Industry experience in printing and packaging is not required. Starting yearly base salary ranges from $80k to $100k.
