Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced EH&S Business Unit Manager to lead our audit and certification programs under the EH&S Business Unit. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth, developing strategies, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Business Unit Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the EH&S Business Unit, focusing on growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing strategies to expand our presence in the market.
- Audit Management: Oversee the conduct of audits, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and accreditation requirements.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of auditors and operational staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of environmental, health, and safety management system standards, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing teams, developing strategies, and driving results.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with executive, middle management, and line-level staff.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of applicable EMS/OHS workplace experience, with a focus on implementation/management, compliance & controls.
- Certifications: Prior experience in auditing/certification and/or implementation, with desirable certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor Certification(s).
