Summary
- The operator in charge of disassembling and cleaning equipment, is responsible for disassembling equipment to clean and refurbish it.
- This role contributes to cost savings by extending the lifespan of equipment and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Disassemble following specific procedures and using appropriate tools.
- Thoroughly clean equipment components to remove petroleum product residues, mud deposits, and other contaminants.
- Inspect disassembled parts to identify damage, wear, or signs of corrosion. Perform minor repairs if necessary, such as replacing seals or worn parts.
- Assemble equipment after cleaning and repair, following manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and tools used in the disassembly and cleaning process.
- Follow strict safety protocols when handling petroleum products and using tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to schedule disassembly and cleaning times to minimize production interruptions.
Skills
- Mechanical disassembly and assembly skills, including the use of manual and power tools. Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards.
