Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials to meet the company's operational needs.

Duties
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs
- Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Utilize root cause analysis to address supply chain issues
- Implement category management strategies to optimize purchasing processes

Qualifications
- Proven experience in contract management, supplier management, and production planning
- Familiarity with supply chain principles and logistics operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in MRP systems and materials management software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
