Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor, ensuring that products are properly stocked and displayed. This role requires a strong focus on inventory management and customer service, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the stockroom and sales floor to ensure a tidy shopping environment.
- Stock shelves with merchandise in an organized manner, following store layout guidelines.
- Assist with shipping and receiving of inventory, ensuring accurate counts and proper documentation.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory control and management tasks.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management for timely resolution.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in locating products and answering inquiries.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move products from storage to the sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the store.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or stock management is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective inventory management.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing stock levels accurately.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners for tracking inventory is beneficial.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and helpful attitude towards customers.
