Job Title: Warehouse Associate I
Location: Pelham AL
Duration: Long Term Temp Assignment
Shift timings: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday) (7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Duties
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other machinery to move products within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately to fulfill customer orders.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist with materials handling, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Build and prepare packages for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency.
- Utilize AS400 or similar inventory management systems for tracking inventory levels.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and cranes is a plus.
- Knowledge of order picking processes and materials handling techniques.
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations.
- Experience using inventory management systems such as AS400 is advantageous.
