Job Title: Materials Handle
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Duration: 06 months contract
Shift: 1st Shift
Responsibilities
- Build and package products for shipment according to company standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently to move products within the warehouse.
- Utilize RF scanners for accurate order picking and inventory management.
- Assist in order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Maintain organization within the warehouse by following established warehouse management systems.
- Perform regular checks on heavy equipment operation to ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a productive work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order fulfillment processes is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Capable of lifting heavy items as required by job duties.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to warehouse operations and equipment usage.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
