Title : Business Analyst - Financial MarketsLocation : Whippany, NJ (hybrid - 2 days onsite)Type : ContractDuration : Long TermDescription : Must have strong experience with Analytical, SQL, Advanced Excel. 8 years of experience in business role preferably in financial markets with following skills : Business analysis (requirements gathering and validation, specification development, data analysis, test design and execution) using structured methods or a recognized methodology Full Systems Development Lifecycle , SQL Skills Financial markets product knowledge (Equities and Equities Derivatives) which includes knowledge of front-to-back trade flows processing and broad range of investment banking products and trade lifecycles Detailed knowledge of a broad range of investment banking products and trade lifecycles. Quick learner; strong analytical and problem-solving skills and should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in preparing Functional Specification documents, Test Plans, etc. Strong understanding of data relationships. Exposure to conducting impact assessments and gap analysis, data mappings. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation such as Functional Specs, Data Flow Diagrams, Presentations and Spreadsheets is needed. Should be excellently skilled in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), running quality SQLs. Working knowledge around the tools like MSSQL, Toad, will be an added advantage. Excellent ability to communicate effectively with Business & IT development teams Excellently skilled in SQls, advance Excel sheet, and Analytics Data Analysis and Visualization.
