Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Job Type : Contract (Local & Travel Candidates)

Location : Morristown, NJ 07960

Shift Schedule : 8 : 00 AM - 8 : 30 PM, 3 days / week

On-Call / Weekend Requirement : 1 weeknight / week (7 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM) and 1 weekend per month (on-call only)

Float Requirement : No

Call Back : On-call pay provided with call requirement

Travel Radius : Candidates' permanent home address should be at least 60 miles away from the facility.

Urgency : Immediate

Job Description :

MMC Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) are seeking an experienced RCIS-certified or licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT) to support Interventional Cardiology procedures, including STEMI, PCI, and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations.

Qualifications :

Licensed Radiologic Technologist required
RCIS Certification preferred
BLS , ACLS , and IABP experience required
Previous experience in Cardiac Cath Lab is essential
High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities :

Prepare and assist in cardiac catheterizations, PCI (STEMI), and other procedures such as peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker insertions, and interventional radiology procedures.

Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data during procedures.

Provide procedural assistance to the physician before, during, and after the procedure.

Assess and manage access sites, providing updates and information to the physician as necessary.

Adhere to on-call protocols and be available as required.

Ensure the patient is prepared for the procedure, following standard operating procedures.
