Engineering Technician Remote

Job Title: Engineering Technician

Responsibilities:

• Preventative Maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with our corporate Engineering and Operations management team to develop test procedures for repair and other processes.
• Work closely with CTDI repair branches to implement and support tools and processes that optimize testing and repair processes.
• Manage the shipment and receipt of fixtures and equipment as needed.
• Perform software updates and validation, specifically Amazon software, while analyzing technical requirements and effort associated with test systems and products.
• Generate various documents, including test procedures, schematics, flowcharts, and project status reports.
• Provide technical support to local branches and consult with other branches as required.

• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on direction from multiple departments.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse populations, including all levels of management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clear and discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems.
• Understanding of analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits.
• Familiarity with IP networks and Linux is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of science.
• Bachelor's degree or experience in test engineering, minimum one year.
