Description :
- Client is seeking a highly qualified associate with 3 - 4 years of top tier law firm experience to join our Financial Restructuring Group in New York City.
- Candidate should have broad experience in out-of-court and in-court restructurings.
- Practice experience should include such matters as : drafting plans, disclosure statements and plan support agreements, involvement in 363 sales, analysis and drafting of intercreditor and subordination agreements, analysis of, and participating in, ligation of, claw back actions, and analysis of leases, executory contracts, and intellectual property licenses.
- In addition to having a broad understanding of the Bankruptcy Code, the candidate should have a solid understanding of Article 9 secured transactions.
Job Requirements :
Candidates applying for associate positions with client should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent research skills and should excel at written and verbal communication. Relevant bar admission required.
