Job title: MEP Design Engineer

These are 3 different roles segregated into Mechanical Designer/Engineer, Electrical Designer/Engineer, Plumbing Designer/Engineer.
- For Mechanical Designer/Engineer, we are looking for experience designing HVAC systems for commercial buildings (key words – heating/cooling loads, pumps, chillers, fans, boilers).
- For Electrical Designer/Engineer, we are looking someone to assist electrical engineers with the design of electrical, lighting and fire alarm systems, prepare electrical designs as required and as necessary to meet client schedules and draft electrical system designs using Revit or AUTOCAD.
- For Plumbing Designer/Engineer, we are looking for someone to design plumbing systems, including domestic water, sanitary, storm, and gas piping, for various building types using using Revit or AUTOCAD and ensure designs comply with local, state, and national plumbing codes (IPC, NFPA, ASPE, ASHRAE, etc.).Perform calculations for pipe sizing, water supply demand, and drainage systems. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and contractors to integrate plumbing systems into building designs. Evaluate sustainability factors, such as water conservation strategies, LEED compliance, and energy-efficient plumbing solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 3-5 years of design experience
- 3-5 years’ experience designing/engineering for MEP systems of commercial (not residential) buildings.
- Expertise in plumbing codes, fire protection systems, and sustainable design principles.
Salary : $80,000 - $130,000
