About the position
As an ER RN you'll assess, stabilize, and provide care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, often in a fast-paced and critical environment, working as part of a team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians for patient care.
- Responsible for treating patients with serious illnesses, injuries, and other medical emergencies when they arrive at a hospital.
- Includes taking vital signs, administering medications, performing EKGs and x-rays, assisting in surgeries, and dealing with emotional trauma.
- Develop a patient care plan after evaluating injuries, setting bones, give blood transfusions or run tests to determine the medical needs of patients.
Required Qualifications:
- Required Qualifications: able to accept nurses with only 1 year experience but would not be eligible for the sign on bonus
Must Haves:
- RN license in the state of Illinois
- BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS certification
- ASN
- Must have 1 years of ED experience recently
- TNCC is a plus
