Job Title: CPD Technician – Endoscope Reprocessing
Job Type: Full-time hire
Shift: Evening (4 pm - 12:30 am)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified CPD Technician to join our client in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience in scope reprocessing and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of this role include providing on-site support for the reprocessing of flexible endoscopes and related devices and equipment. This position ensures that all reusable surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are properly:
- Decontaminated
- Inspected
- Assembled
- Packaged
- Sterilized
- Stored
- Inventoried
- Appropriately tracked
All duties must comply with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED – Required
Work Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in scope reprocessing – Required
- Experience in central supply or O.R. processing area – Preferred
Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:
- A Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) – Mandatory
- CRCST - Preferred
- CSPDT - preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $29.96 - $32.81 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
