Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, ensuring adherence to prescribed therapies.
- Provide direct patient care, including exercise instruction and mobility assistance, while monitoring patient progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members in various settings, including outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support effective rehabilitation strategies.
