What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Specialist position at NR Interiors?
NR Interiors seeks a Procurement Specialist to join our team located at Dominion Place in San Antonio, TX. Our Procurement Specialist is a highly organized, detail-oriented professional that orders custom furnishings, tile, and other home finishes for a high-end residential Interior Design Company & Furnishings showroom. This position supports the interior design staff by pricing products, creating proposals, purchase orders, invoices and coordinating the delivery for all products sold. This is an in person full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Create and submit proposals to clients and purchase orders to vendors
- Communicate with vendors: pricing, order status updates and shipment tracking, schedules delivery
- Coordinates repair and manages warranty resolution
- Coordinate shipping & logistics for delivery and installation
- Account management: recording payments and collecting balances
- Update clients on order status and provide estimated delivery dates
- Work closely with interior design team and remodeling construction team to manage client expectations and ensure successful delivery
- Customer Service: Communicate with clients to ensure an excellent customer experience from quote to delivery. Address client questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
- This is not a designer position
- Willingness to be trained in Studio Designer accounting software required
- Requires full-time in office attendance at our Dominion Place, San Antonio office M-F 8-4pm or 9-5pm
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Growth mindset, proactive, positive attitude, team player, and not averse to challenging, time-sensitive situations
- Ability to establish priorities, and willingness to complete a variety of tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient software required: Outlook, Excel, Power Point
- Degree in business, accounting or related fields is applicable
- Bookkeeping skills necessary
- Willingness to be trained in Studio Designer accounting software
- Experience in Design, Furnishings, Home Construction or Project Management background is preferred
- This is a vendor & client facing position
