Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Class A CDL driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, loading and unloading trucks with forklifts, strapping and hauling equipment and materials safely. This role requires a clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Candidates with experience in heavy haul operations, warehouse settings, or mechanical knowledge will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on job sites.
• Operate various tools and machinery safely, including forklifts, boom lifts, telehandlers and semi trucks.
• Support skilled tradespeople in tasks such as masonry and roofing work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety on-site.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing job duties.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Class A CDL with at least 5 years of experience.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly with heavy machinery and tools.
• Ability to drive route-based vehicles such as tractor-trailers or flat beds.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Familiarity with freight handling processes is desirable.
