What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cure Associate position at NR Parentco LLC?

Responsible for conducting the daily duties of the Cure Department, while ensuring that all Native Roots products are consistent and high quality. Works closely with the Cure Supervisor to effectively and efficiently dry and cure Native Roots flowers. Handles harvested products daily while drying and curing. Also cleans and sanitizes dry/cure rooms and all associated equipment to Native Roots standards.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct daily Cure Team duties (taking down a dry/cure room, preparing and maintaining
- dry/cure rooms).
- Follow all SOPs for the Dry/Cure process.
- Responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of all cure rooms and equipment.
- Observe flowers in dry and cure rooms and report contaminated products to the Supervisor.
- Manipulate product in the dry and cure rooms to ensure even moisture loss and consistent, uniform drying
- Communicate any abnormalities with the product to the Cure Supervisor.
- Influence decisions by shift supervisors and management about product disposition
- Verify tags/strain/license/batch ID of recent harvests
- Complete special projects as required
- Any other duties assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must possess or obtain a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee Badge
- Strong communication skills
- Basic organizational and time management skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Metric and standard measurement knowledge
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous cannabis or agricultural experience
- Ability to understand basic scientific concepts
- Metrc knowledge
- Degree in Plant Sciences
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs.
- Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes or items.
- Ability to work in the same area as cannabis and have direct contact with cannabis material
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks for the majority of your workday
- Ability to safely use and store chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, cleaning agents, and nutrient concentrates following manufacturer’s recommendations and/or SOP’s
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- In person at production location based on schedule
