Job Summary:

The NET Technician will play a crucial role in providing service delivery with our innovative medical device (NET®) for treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD). This position involves application of the device, patient monitoring, data collection, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The NET Technician will work closely with the Regional Manager, Recruitment & Recovery Specialists, and addiction center admissions and medical staff to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of NET. This role is best suited for a highly motivated and detail-oriented person who is passionate about addiction medicine and recovery, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a keen interest in advancing healthcare technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

While a NET Technician is expected to contribute in many ways to the NET service delivery, typical responsibilities include the following:

• Attend training regarding the use of the NET device and service delivery
• Sufficiently master use of the NET device and the NET Vue software application to educate a patient, apply electrodes, initialize a device program, monitor device operation and electrode integrity, and terminate a device program
• Assist in screening eligible participants
• Collect and accurately record data from patients to an electronic database (SandScape)
• Monitor patient safety and well-being; collect information regarding adverse events
• Interface with admissions, medical, and supervisory staff at the addiction center
• Maintain accurate records, safeguarding the confidentiality of patients
• Request equipment or supplies as necessary for service delivery, and maintain records of equipment and supply utilization
• Manage and respond promptly to communications (email, texts, phone calls, etc.)
• Attend company meetings
• Travel between facilities based on patient load
• Discuss work requirements and schedules with the Regional Manager and/or Scheduler to ensure that work priorities can be accomplished in a timely manner
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Manager or NET Recovery Corp

Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:

• Academic and/or work experience related to the field of addiction
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), internet applications, and video conferencing
• Pass the Computer Competency Quiz

Physical demands:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
• May be required to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment:

• Office environment
• Addiction treatment facilities
• Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate

Travel:

• Valid driving license
• You will be required to travel to one or more facilities in Central KY
