The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is seeking an individual to serve as a Treasury Analyst. The desired applicant will have excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. 

The staff accountant will perform and assist the senior accounting staff with day-to-day tasks. These include:

•        Managing Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables, including entering and posting transactions

into accounting software

•        Depositing weekly checks and entering ACHs into the bank

•        Coding invoices and managing a chart of accounts

•        Providing weekly/monthly reports

•        Assisting in end of month bank reconciliations

•        Fielding general vendor inquiries

•        Managing the NRCC’s travel program

•        Assisting senior accountants with ad hoc projects.

•        Managing vendor files and keeping meticulous records

•        Helping with the yearly audit by pulling files and assisting the CFO


EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products is required. Ideal candidate will have a self-starter attitude, and the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously.
