Touchstone Energy provides marketing, communications and member services support to our nearly 700 member cooperatives. Through research on member satisfaction and engagement; creative assets like videos, ads and social media libraries; customer service training and education; and a full service web development team, we help cooperatives build stronger relationships with their member-owners.
Position Summary
Contributes to marketing and member engagement team via written and posted content, to generate awareness of the value and benefit of Touchstone Energy among members and prospects. Communicates with members, industry outlets and prospects about Touchstone Energy programs and services.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Under general guidance, write and distribute news releases and media advisories to related trade press to build awareness of Touchstone Energy accomplishments and new programs and services.
- Write and place articles about Touchstone Energy member accomplishments in Statewide association magazines.
- Collect case studies on member best practices and unique ideas for the Admire and Acquire database.
- Develop and post content on LinkedIn and manage LinkedIn Groups, including Co-op Champions
- Maintain the presentation library to ensure up to date content for promotion of Touchstone Energy programs.
- Develop and maintain new member kits, SHiNE website launch kits and other communications materials as needed to support the engagement in and implementation of Touchstone Energy programs.
- Publish the Annual Report and Board Bulletin communications.
- Serve on member engagement team to support awareness and execution of programs and events.

Qualifications
Formal Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, marketing, press relations or an equivalent of education, training and experience.
Experience And Certifications Required
- 2 or more years of experience in communications and/or marketing.
- Experience with e-marketing, publication tools and best practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (as demonstrated by prior work experience):
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web scripting, or a willingness to learn.
- Strong oral and written communication skills that show the ability to adjust messaging and style based on audience.
- Ability to identify a target audience's needs and motivation and translate them into concepts for compelling interactions and experiences.
- Ability to work independently and when needed, to liaise with technical support and executive management.
- Ability to work across platforms (PC and Mac) and with various presentation devices (projector, monitor, interactive touch screen).
- Ability to define issues, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and apply to work environment.
- Ability to learn and utilize project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Monday.com, and Jira.
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse membership, employees and/or vendors in a clear and precise manner.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) and to operate various office equipment such as personal computer, copier, printer, fax machine or other job-related equipment.
- Ability to provide service excellence by building relationships, being resourceful, responsive and respectful.
- Ability to travel to annual Brand Strategy Committee Meetings and Connect Conference.
- Ability to report to the office when required.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
