Job Summary: The Senior Manager of Business Operations is responsible for overseeing the business processes, data management, talent acquisition, billing, KPI management, Software development, and reporting requirements that allows processes and procedures to be performed at the most efficient level. This position will report to the President and work closely with the VP & Director of Field Operations. The role will be focused on providing solutions that deliver operational efficiency, improved data tracking, and enhanced customer support capabilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and operations metrics to ensure processes and procedures are efficient.
- Oversee talent acquisition, billing, process management, SOP creation, business software development and integration, KPI maintenance, and reporting requirements.
- Support field operations leadership efforts to manage field performance and ensure efficient communication.
- Enhance and enforce business process document and process control.
- Provide oversight and perform research and gap analysis to determine and improve effectiveness of all operational documentation and processes.
- Provide support, guidance, and expertise to operational and engineering program management by helping to solve issues, developing documentation, and implementing process changes.
- Provide analytical oversight and review of all relevant initiatives.
- Develop tools to enable senior leadership to more rapidly and effectively address business issues, gain customer insight and make timely decisions regarding operational readiness.
- Identify and resolve issues, problems, and concerns by leading cross functional teams when necessary
- Develop, document, and maintain an effective set of policies and procedures consistent with state and national compliance requirements, customer request and company culture
- Work closely with the Director of Operations and executive leadership to deliver improved day-to-day operational performance across key metrics.
- Recruit and place external candidates.
- Identify backfill plans for internal candidates.
- Create interview guides for all prospective candidates.
- Attend Networking events (Vocational High schools, Technical Colleges/Schools)
- Be the SME on all tracking systems (UKG/Zoom Info/Salesforce)
- Share in rotating “On call” shift coverage management for field operations
- Assume all billing responsibilities for NRG Services and assist sales in improved contract management
- Billing and Accounts Receivable corporate liaison
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Solid understanding of financial statements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks and office management software.
- Ability to identify challenges and proactively implement effective solutions.
- Flexibility to handle diverse tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and levels of the organization.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or pursuing bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or relative experience to field (preferred).
- Familiarity with management procedures and procedure development
