Job Summary :
- The Duct Blast Technician will be responsible for performing manual labor and repair on duct systems and ensure that systems are tested, functioning and in compliance with all requirements.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Perform manual labor on duct systems on Residential New Construction customer locationsTest systems to ensure proper functioningIdentify any leaks and / or required repairs using a using a variety of powerful industrial equipment including but not limited to duct blaster machine, fog machine, and vacuum equipmentSeal and / or repair any identified issues and follow up testing to ensure that the duct system and all relevant components are working as required to ensure compliancePost testing stickers on the equipment for the inspection processAccurately complete all required paperworkCommunicate updates, job status, and concerns effectively with leadersFollows safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedDuties may vary by location.Minimum Requirements :
High school diploma or GED. Experience may be substituted for education.Prior duct blasting or HVAC installation experienceAbility to read installation plans / documentsMaintains and cleans work area upon completionGood verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writingBeginner computing skills and able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.Valid driver's license requiredAbility to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be requiredPreferred Qualifications :
HVAC trade school certification1-2 years’ experience in construction, HVAC or related experienceEPA CertificationAdditional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Majority of work will take place at occupied residential homes and / or construction sites. Minimal time spent in an office environment.Travel by vehicle to and from work locationsRegularly exposed to construction environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials and odorsComfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPEPhysical Requirements :
