Position Summary
The Mobile App Vertical Technical Program Manager / Scrum Master role involves facilitating Agile practices, removing obstacles, enhancing communication, promoting continuous improvement, supporting team dynamics, ensuring focus on goals, coaching and mentoring, and providing regular status updates. Preferred qualifications include over 5 years of project delivery experience, proficiency in Jira and Smartsheet, experience in mobile app development, technical proficiency, Agile and Scrum certifications, strong communication, leadership, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities :
- Facilitates Agile Practices : Ensures that the team adheres to Agile principles and practices, helping to maintain the structure and discipline needed for effective Scrum implementation.
- Removes Obstacles : Identifies and removes any impediments that might hinder the team’s progress, allowing developers to focus on their work without unnecessary interruptions.
- Enhances Communication : Facilitates daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring clear and consistent communication within the team and with stakeholders.
- Promotes Continuous Improvement : Encourages the team to reflect on their processes and outcomes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Supports Team Dynamics : Helps to build a cohesive team environment, addressing conflicts and promoting collaboration and trust among team members.
- Ensures Focus on Goals : Keeps the team focused on the sprint goals and the overall project objectives, helping to manage scope and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Coaches and Mentors : Provides guidance and support to team members, helping them to develop their skills and understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Maintain and provide weekly, monthly program status to leadership team and other stakeholders.
