This dual-role position combines direct patient care with medication management, ensuring residents receive both physical and medical support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, administer prescribed medications to residents, adhering to the five rights of medication administration.
- Regularly check and record residents' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, medication administration, and observations in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
