Maintenance Technician - Steamboat
Reports to: Executive Director/Director of Operations
Job Category: Full-Time Hourly | Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $23-$28 per hour
Job Site: Foundry - Ranch (Steamboat)
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general upkeep of the facility’s buildings, infrastructure, grounds, and equipment ensuring they are safe and functional at all times.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance or similar field.
- Familiarity with BHA and JCAHO regulations a plus.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid, non-restricted Colorado driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Current CPR certification or ability to gain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Proven maintenance/repair experience.
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to analyze and creatively problem-solve.
- Attention to detail, and well-organized.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform general upkeep and repair on the interior/exterior of facilities.
- Plan and execute on maintenance work orders.
- Establish and oversee preventive maintenance schedules and routine safety inspections.
- Participate in Environment of Care (EOC) requirements such as drills and walkthroughs, identifying and documenting action items.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and fire codes.
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, state, and accrediting agency regulations, ensuring compliance and high client care standards.
- Perform routine maintenance of NRT’s automotive fleet and maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
- Ensure seasonal snow removal at facilities and necessary application of ice melt.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and safety inspections.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities.
- Must be able to operate hand tools, maintenance equipment, and maintenance vehicles.
- Standing, sitting, bending, lifting, reaching, climbing.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Driving in all weather conditions.
