Are you a skilled Network Engineer eager to work on mission-critical, cutting-edge infrastructure? NS2 Mission is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA (HQ) and play a key role in designing, securing, and optimizing high-availability networks. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll lead efforts in advanced routing, switching, firewalls, and security compliance, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide expert-level network design, infrastructure support, change management, scheduling, and implementation.
- Plan and maintain software upgrades and patches for firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Maintain, evaluate, test, and apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) configurations for network devices.
- Monitor and respond to security findings and events across the network infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and security procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, executive stakeholders, and customers, ensuring clear technical guidance and recommendations.
Required Qualifications :
12 years of related experience (without a degree), OR
Preferred Qualifications :
Position Clearance Requirement :
TS / SCI with CI Poly
