Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cable Installer to help with a small Datacenter move. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rack and stack new server cabinets and the installation of low voltage cabling systems for telecommunications and networking. This role requires a proven track record of telecommunications cable installation. The Cable Installer will work onsite, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, Label and troubleshoot low voltage cabling systems including Cat6A, LMR400, RG6, and Fiber Optic structured cabling.
- Utilize hand tools, OTR, Coax and Cat6A Certification Tester to ensure proper installation and functionality of cables.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Make cabling recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all installation processes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding installations.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
Experience
- Proven experience in cable installation, dressing, terminations, and and labeling.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
