Job Summary
We seek a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to operate, maintain, and occasionally repair heavy equipment at job sites. This role involves traveling with machines to various locations and remaining onsite to ensure proper operation during use. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with equipment operation, a commitment to safety, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operation: Operate and monitor heavy equipment at job sites to ensure efficiency and safety during use.
- Travel: Transport and accompany machines to designated job sites and stay onsite while equipment is in operation.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspections, to keep equipment in top condition.
- Repairs: Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs as needed to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, inspect equipment for hazards, and ensure operations comply with regulations.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of machine usage, maintenance, and repairs, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the site team to coordinate machine operations and meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required.
- Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
- Ability to operate and maintain various types of equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, or other specialized machinery).
- Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Willingness to travel frequently and stay onsite as required.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation.
- Experience with specific machinery used in Shell Construction.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance and repair techniques.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
