NSC Skilled Trades has an immediate need for experienced Electrician Fire Alarm Inspector Technician Seattle, WA

Start Date : ASAP
Hours : 40 hours a week
Length : Direct Hire
Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

Qualifications & Requirements

Inspects, repairs and tests hardwired and wireless security and fire alarm control devices, switch panels, transformers, and other electrical equipment and components at assigned customer sites.

Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and basic network related problems encountered by end-users of the network. Has a basic understanding of IPV4 and how to assign a computer an IP address.

Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.

Records periodic electrical testing and recommends or initiates modifications or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.

Operates company vehicle to drive to client sites to perform installations and testing.

Instruct customers on proper devise use and maintenance measures.

Communicate directly with customers, both verbally and in writing.

Record any needed repairs and report to service team.

Follow all safety procedures.

Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

06 Electrical License

NICET II Certification

Valid Drivers License

Comfort and ease reading and interpreting blueprints.

Knowledge of WA fire safety codes & regulations

Exemplary customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Physical Requirements

Drive a company vehicle.

Sit while driving, reading panels and using a computer.

Stand and walk to inspect and perform repairs.

Use office equipment, including phones and computer keyboards,

Engage with customers over the phone and in-person by voice.

Lift up to 20 pounds.

Climb ladders and stairs

Stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crawl and twist as needed.

Able to see within normal limits

Able to hear to communicate with other and hear ambient noise for safety purposes.

Able to use small hand tools.
