Job Description
We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist who can independently run a full-cycle payroll in ADP WFN for over 1000 team members, salary and hourly with premiums, multi-state and Canada. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for full cycle processing of accurate, timely and compliant payroll for Canada. In addition to processing payroll, this position will participate and lead payroll projects with cross functional department teams.
Responsibilities
- Assure compliant and timely bi-weekly ADP payroll for Canada (75%) and US (25%)
- Audit assurance for accuracy and completion of the daily HR interfaces to ADP
- Assure compliant timecard processing, recordkeeping
- Maintain all ADP DataBridge files; troubleshooting and datamining experience is a plus
- Process necessary file extracts and check requests for applicable vendors (with assured accuracy)
- Engage within regular vendor partnership calls for problem solving and issue resolution
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of payroll and payroll tax regulations and guidelines
- Using HR's portal and case management system (ServiceNow HRSD), responsible for queue management, end-to-end handling of cases and driving case closure
- Provide effective and prompt solutions to internal customer inquiries on a wide array of Payroll topics and deliver an excellent customer experience
- Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities and implementation of continuous improvement projects and initiatives in processes and systems
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and document when necessary.
