NSF is seeking a Senior Project Managers to join our Dietary supplements team. This person would work closely between our internal teams at NSF and some external clients as a Liaison and Partner.
Responsibilities
- Ensure laboratory testing projects are completed on-time
- Quickly and accurately resolve open issues by working with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Provide outstanding service as the client’s single point of contact.
- Manage the client interface for both internal and external clients providing timely, professional updates and prompt responses
- Ability to think strategically and anticipate potential issues before they arise
- Be the voice-of-the-customer to laboratory management in support of continuous improvement
- Determine and communicate testing priorities to the lab
- Suggest and support process improvements
- Support launch of new service offerings or other initiatives
- Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Lead identification and onboarding of subcontractors to meet lab’s needs
- Utilize and update internal laboratory and customer relationship management systems
- Comply with all NSF regulations and requirements
- Education: appropriate 4-year degree, master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience (Account management experience would be a plus)
- Experience and ability to work with diverse clients including personnel in technical, commercial, administrative, and managerial roles
- Ability to interact with external customers
- Experience developing or tracking customer satisfaction elements
- Knowledge of laboratory testing and technical knowledge of common microbiology, chemistry, or physical engineering tests
- Ability to monitor and manage Key customer account effectively
- Experience with process mapping and/or developing new workflows with internal teams
- Ability to mentor others, work with a diverse group with different communication styles
- Clear written communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented precision is required.
