Job Description

As the Strategic Marketing Manager, Water, you will play a pivotal role in driving the marketing strategy and initiatives for our water division. You will leverage your deep understanding of the water industry to enhance brand visibility, foster customer engagement, and support sales growth.

This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Marketing Director, NSF Water, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • Strategic Planning :

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our water product-related services,

  • Identify market trends and customer needs to position our offerings effectively.
  • Market Research and Analysis :
  • Conduct thorough market assessments to identify opportunities for growth and competitive differentiation,

  • Analyze customer feedback and market data to refine and optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Be a force of proposal for potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging :
  • Craft clear and compelling messaging and value propositions that resonate with target audiences, highlighting the benefits and differentiators of our water services,

  • Lead the Go-To-Market strategies by collaborating with the product development / innovation transversal teams to align marketing initiatives with product launches and updates.
  • Maintain and enhance the company's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation across all marketing materials (brand ambassador).
  • Campaign Development :
  • Design and implement multi-channel global marketing campaigns, including digital, print, events, thought leadership articles, and press releases, to drive lead generation and customer acquisition and help the regional teams implementing them locally,

  • Monitor and analyze global and local campaign performance, adjusting as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on best practices and innovative marketing strategies to regional teams.
  • Budget Management :
  • Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across various initiatives.

  • Deliver regular reports on marketing performance and ROI to senior management.
  • Plan Delivery :
  • Contribute to delivering the Annual Operating Plan for the assigned certification programs by teaming up with the program leaders and the regional managers.

    Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5 years) in strategic marketing roles, with a track record of developing and implementing successful B2B marketing strategies,
  • Technical knowledge of water treatment products, and chemistry would be beneficial,
  • Experience in drinking water, water safety, or water regulations is preferred,
  • Experience developing marketing campaigns, along with determining metrics to measure effectiveness and impact on goals,
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their effective use in a marketing campaign
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans to support divisional goals,
  • Education in Marketing and Communications
  • Proficient in MS office tools including word, excel and power point,
  • Experience working across large and diverse geographies and ability to work collaboratively with other divisions and regions,
  • Experience with analytical marketing tools needed to evaluate opportunities and measure results,
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Passion for staying up to date with industry trends and emerging marketing technologies
