NSG, Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Janitorial Cleaner for an office facility situated in downtown Cincinnati, OH. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our clients.
JOB SUMMARY : Primary responsibility is to perform all required janitorial activities as assigned. Janitorial Cleaners, Day Porters, Disinfectors and Floor Technicians work together as a team to provide great service and customer experience. Must be able to work the following set of days / hours :
Monday through Friday from 5 : 00 p.m. - 12 : 00 a.m. (35 Hours Per Week)
Compensation :
- Competitive rate of pay : $15.75 per hour.
- Weekly pay every Friday.
Major Duties and Responsibilities :
Clean general office, Kitchenette / Break Areas, Restrooms, Water Fountains, Stairwells, Elevators, Lobby / Tenant Service Areas from top to bottom according to Specification Schedule as outlined :General Office :Sweep, vacuum, and dust mop all floorsDust desktops, flat surface furnishings, horizontal surfaces and edges, wall hangings windowsills and ledges, and venetian blinds.Spot wipe walls, doors, interior doors and frames, wipe file cabinets and metal furniture.Clean glass top furnishings, vents and grills.Restrooms / Kitchenette / Break Areas :
Wipe down and clean mirrors doors, frames, countertops, horizontal work and dispensers, sinks, fixtures, baseboards and counters top to bottom.Clean, polish and disinfect inside and exterior of urinals, toilets, sinks and partitions top to bottom. Leave toilet seats in an upright position to show cleanliness after completion.Damp mop hard floors, vacuum carpeted area, buff kitchenette hard floors. Clean all spills and wet spots found. Post a wet floor sign to illustrate a potential slip hazard. Remove sign once floor has dried.Machine scrub kitchenette vinyl tile.Dust inside of entire restroom / Kitchenette / break area including light fixtures, ledges, vents, exhaust, tops of partitions, dispensers, and baseboards top to bottom.Check and stock consumables in restrooms including toilet paper, paper towels, soaps.Empty trash, replace liners and wipe the trash cans as needed. Empty feminine wax liners as needed.Elevator Lobbies :
Check and reset elevator lobbies on each floor at the same time restrooms are checked.Wipe and clean horizontal surfaces, removing any visible marks or debris.Wipe and clean touchpoints, rest chairs and furniture.Spot sweep carpets where debris is visible.Remove all trash.Empty feminine wax liners as needed.Elevators :
Monitor the elevators for debris or unclean marks.Clear debris on the floor. Use a broom, dustpan or non-powered sweeper.Clean the corners and edges where the wall meets the floor.Clean marks on the buttons or walls and wipe with a damp cloth.Clean stainless steel of spots or fingerprints with a damp cloth.Water Fountains / Stairwells / Miscellaneous :
Remove cobwebs and sweep stairwellsSpot clean stairwell doors and door frames.Dust / clean handrails and higher fixturesClean with disinfectant. Shine all metal surfaces and stainless steel.Remove mineral deposits with special attention to nozzlesBrush the ventilating grill.Maintenance :
Report any maintenance issues to the manager notify senior leaders of any severe issues immediately.Clean basement / subbasement lobbies.Clean 1st floor compactor area inside and outside.Empty exterior garbage cans around the outside of buildingsPolice air handling rooms and slop sink rooms.Report maintenance emergencies to senior NSG leaders and the Security Command Center immediately. (examples : floods, fires, hazards, etc.)Qualifications :
