2nd Shift Welder

Job Duties:

• Read customer work order sheets
• Operate angle roll former, looper, bandsaw, and clinching machines
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
• Repair and adjust machinery as needed
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Paint, label, and pack orders
• Currently seeking an experienced welder for both the 1st and 2nd shifts. Candidates must be available to work the 1st shift from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm or the 2nd shift from 4:45 pm to 3:00 am
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to read/write
• Must be flexible – OT and weekends are required as needed
• Must be able to work a 10 hour/day work schedule
• In need of a 1st shift welder and 2nd shift Welder. Must be able to work 1st shift 5:30am-4pm or 2nd shift 4:45pm-3am
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to communicate with other team members and other departments
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to assist in other areas/departments when there is downtime
• Ability to read and interpret work orders
  
  

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  

Experience

• A minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience preferred but not required
  
  

Physical Requirements – Essential

• Must be in good physical condition
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to push and pull up to 150 lbs
• Must have good hand/eye coordination
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
