Duties and Responsibilities:
The Production Worker is responsible for a variety of operations functions within the framework of company policies and procedures and in compliance of applicable regulations.
- Select the proper jars, sleeves, and lids for each job batch
- Ensure all labels are centered and that top labels are secured
- Ensure paperwork matches the job batch and corresponds with the labels used for the job batch
- Maintain car protocols, jars stacked no more than 3 high
- Correctly fill out production slips in a timely manner, ensure completed slips are received by the Production Supervisor
- Calibrate weighing scales for each job batch; ensure the scale has the capacity to measure the final jar weight
- Machine work – monitor and maintain the good working order of the machine, and its hoppers and droppers, to ensure jars are filled correctly and efficiently
- Be able to assist in other departments when needed
The Skills You Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing – 1-2 years
Salary Range: $16 to $17 Hourly
