Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets for assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with Inside Account Managers to maintain sales pipeline.
- Represent the company at trade shows and meetings.
- Update CRM with trip reports, new contacts, and sales activities.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships through calls and visits.
- Stay informed about company products and educate customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide product expertise.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues with Account Managers.
- Foster a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.
- Travel regularly to customers and events.
- 5-7 years of sales experience in data center, networking, and fiber optics.
- Experience as a regional or territory sales manager.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new products and technologies.
- Technical knowledge of fiber optic transceivers, high-speed cables, copper, and network connectivity.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (preferred).
- Knowledge of Oracle Netsuite or similar accounting systems (preferred).
