Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in configuring and training on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP EWM solutions to meet business needs. This role requires strong analytical skills, functional expertise, and the ability to train end-users on EWM functionalities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP EWM to support warehouse operations.
- Analyze business requirements and design scalable EWM solutions in alignment with industry best practices.
- Configure SAP EWM components, including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, RF framework, and warehouse structure.
- Conduct training sessions for business users and stakeholders on SAP EWM functionalities, processes, and best practices.
- Provide functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with technical teams to deliver enhancements.
- Perform system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP EWM solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP MM, SD, and TM consultants, to ensure seamless process integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP EWM issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support go-live activities and provide post-implementation stabilization and optimization.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP EWM features, innovations, and industry trends to drive process improvements.
- Experience in SAP EWM-MFS (Material Flow System) and integration with automation systems is a plus.
- Experience in SAP TM-EWM integration is an advantage.
- SAP EWM certification is a plus.
- Experience in EWM implementation in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for warehouse management.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
