SAP Senior Asset Management Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Asset Management Specialist to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of SAP Asset Management (SAP PM/EAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of asset management processes, SAP functionality, and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions in complex environments.
Responsibilities:
SAP Asset Management Implementation:
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PM/EAM solutions.
- Develop functional specifications, system configurations, and user documentation to align with business requirements.
- Integrate SAP Asset Management with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, and FI/CO.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze current asset management processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend best practices for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance using SAP tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline workflows and enhance system efficiency.
System Support and Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SAP Asset Management systems.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality.
- Train end-users on system features and best practices.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate master data management within SAP for equipment, work orders, and maintenance plans.
- Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to track asset performance and maintenance metrics.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide guidance to junior team members and business users.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 7 years of experience with SAP Asset Management (SAP PM/EAM), including implementation and support.
- Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, and work order processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, integration, and data migration.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, utilities, or oil & gas.
- Knowledge of IoT and predictive maintenance tools.
- Certification in SAP PM or EAM modules.
Primarily office-based, with occasional travel as required for site visits or meetings to Pennslavania.
