Activities and Responsibilities
• Services existing accounts, attends to current needs while pushing new business. Plans and organizes daily workschedule to call on new and existing sales outlets to generate additional sales.
• Studies existing and potential accounts to refine and focus sales efforts.
• Keeps management informed of progress by submitting activity and results reports (such as: daily call reports, weeklywork plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis).
• Resolves customer complaints; investigates the complaint, analyzes options, develops solutions, preparing reports andmakes recommendations to management for reconciliation.
• Recommends changes and improvements in products, services, and company policies based on the evaluation ofcompetitive results and developments within NSK markets.
• Develops monthly production requirement schedules for assigned plants by coordinating sales forecast inventory planand production capabilities to meet customer requirements.
• Expedites current orders by specific part number to encourage timely production completion and shipments.
• Develops and communicates long-range business plans and master production plans with a high level of accuracy, including the identification of production constraints.
• Maintains optimum level of inventory, enabling the organization to satisfy customer requirements while also maximizingprofitability of the organization.
• Analyzes inventory, production levels, and sales requirements on a monthly basis and prepares reports used bymanagement in making business decisions.
• Procures material for production.
• Works with DC (distribution center) to route trucks for product pick-up and delivery
Education & Experience Requirements
A Technical Diploma or Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred, or 0 to 4 years of position-related experience.
