Activities and Responsibilities
- Designs products, test equipment and tools in 2D/3D via computer aided design drawings.
- Prepares and maintains the appropriate design approval and documentation systems.
- Communicates design specifications and part number information to plants in drawing format.
- Writes and documents standards and procedures in accordance to NSK quality systems (ISO/TS certification).
- Checks drawings prepared by peers.
- Documents and distributes new drawings and changes to existing drawings.
- Performs computer input, filing of drawings, and file maintenance.
- Communicates with NSK head office design department on product issues and new requirements.
- Communicates with third party suppliers on computer aided design exchange and translation.
