Safety Analysis Job Description

NSS is an Avionics and Electrical Systems Engineering Firm based in Phoenix, AZ.

We are hiring for multiple positions (in multiple experience levels); Electrical, Systems, Systems Safety, Software, & Mechanical Engineers.

We are seeking Entry-Level through Senior-Level Aircraft Systems, Avionics Systems, and Avionics Software Engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop/Support the development of AFHA, and PASA.
• Develop PSSAs for Aircraft systems in accordance with ARP4761 or MIL-STD-882.
• Conduct safety risk assessments and develop recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Develop Common Cause Analysis
• Develop Failure Modes and Effects analysis
• Develop/Support Reliability Analysis
• Identify system safety requirements for systems engineering.
• Support Systems, hardware and software design reviews.
• Interface with external customers engineering teams.

Desired Skills (not required):

• Familiarity with ARP4754A guidelines.
• Familiarity with D)-178C, DO-254 guidelines.
• Familiarity with the Avionics engineering development life cycle
• MBSE
• Cafta, Winchill (Relex)
• DOORS

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines:

• Electrical Engineering
• Software or computer engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Aerospace Engineering
• Other related fields

Schedule:

• Full Time Position; 8 hour/ day.

Work Location:

• Onsite at NSS Aerospace Facilities in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
