What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hybrid Business Financial Manager (BFM) position at NSS?
We are actively hiring (and fully training, if needed) Business Financial Managers (BFM) to be a part of a large team that works closely with the Department of the Navy to deliver long-term, quality solutions. This position works directly with Senior Leaders as part of the collaborative and successful Finance team.
Location: 3 days onsite at the Navy Yard in D.C. 2 days remote each week.

- Play a key part within a collaborative team with ample training available!!!
- Process funding documents (create/track/report).
- Provide in-depth financial analysis and present findings.
- Create and distribute weekly summaries for all active funding and develop automatic queries.
- Provide customer interface for data used in the entry of task modifications into the Enterprise Planning System.
- Provide task monitoring of fiscal year allocation plans and execution reports.
- Develop and edit briefings and financial data involving Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Participate in planning meetings with government and business partners.
Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor's degree.
- Active Secret OR Interim Secret level security clearance REQUIRED.
- 1-5 years of overall experience.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Knowledge in any of the following areas: finance, planning, budgeting, allocating, forecasting, reporting, etc. (experience can be from a college OR professional setting).
