Job Description:
We are seeking an Assistant Site Superintendent with general commercial construction knowledge and the desire to grow in their career. This candidate will join our expanding team in the San Antonio, TX area. This role requires a leader capable of ensuring project excellence and client satisfaction. Experience with the construction of secure facilities is plus. Willing to travel is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the project Superintendent with oversite of daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality specifications.- Coordinate activities of multiple trades, manage construction timelines, and maintain budget controls.
- Manage and update construction documentation, ensuring all onsite activities adhere to the established plans.
- Utilize software tools like Microsoft Office, Project, Bluebeam and Procore to maintain accurate project tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial construction, specifically with SCIF, secure spaces, and corporate interiors.- Knowledge of construction details including electrical, mechanical, and architectural aspects.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing construction projects over 5,000 sq. ft., particularly secure data labs and SCIF boxes.
- Strong capability in reading and interpreting detailed blueprints, including MEP drawings.
- Familiarity with construction means and methods with a keen eye for quality and detail.
