What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Resource Specialist position at NTCA_user?
NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association is looking for a skilled customer service specialist to join our outstanding Benefits Resource team. Our customer service team responds to and provides resolution to inquiries about all NTCA's benefit programs.
What will you do?
Respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding NTCA Benefit Plans and eligibility requirements.
Answer plan-specific questions from participants and member company HR representatives.
Work with internal operation units to resolve complex inquiries and provide accurate information to benefit plan participants and NTCA member companies.
Maintain knowledge of benefit program specifications, plan rules and regulations
Contribute to team efforts using plan resources, communication procedures and policies.
The ideal candidate will have the following position requirements:
Robust problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to research and analyze information to determine appropriate responses to complex questions.
Effectively and professionally communicate technical and complex information.
Accurately record information into internal inquiry system
Balance competing demands for time and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines
Exceptional customer service skills including advanced verbal and written communication skills
High level of comfort accessing data from web-based and other database applications
Knowledge of employee benefits is preferred but not required.
Must be available to work multiple work schedules, Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
