System Engineer II

NTCA is seeking a self-starter, self-motivated System Engineer II to join our team of IT division. Responsibilities include maintain, design, configure and deploy the organization's network infrastructure.  This position will provide advanced technical support for network equipment, servers, firewalls, switches, routers and other telecommunications systems as well as providing support to users across the organization. What will you do?   Identify, troubleshoot and resolve network security vulnerabilities and participate in incident response. Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration, mapping, processes, service records, server/application configuration, user workstation and application configuration. Research, design, configure and deploy network/server infrastructure, including LANs, WANs and wireless networks as well as servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, workstations and other hardware. Provide technical support to the NTCA user community on Windows workstations, printers, mobile devices, peripherals, and Advanced AV equipment Perform configuration, provisioning, and troubleshooting of Office 365 platform including Exchange Online, Sharepoint, Teams, Azure Entra and other O365 related products Perform server and security audits, system backups and recovery   The ideal candidate will have the following position requirements:   Advanced working knowledge of VMWare, Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) LAN/WAN technology, network security principles, and network design and management best practices Hands-on knowledge of network, server, and PC operating systems including Microsoft Windows and various databases Advanced working knowledge of O365 platform, Exchange Online, Sharepoint, Azure Entra and other O365 applications Excellent hardware troubleshooting and customer service skills Experience with automated file transfer applications Ability to work independently or with a variety of user groups.  An undergraduate degree in computer science or 5-7 years of related work experience desired.   Why work for us?   NTCA offers a competitive compensation and benefits package that is designed to support employees’ health and wellness, financial planning, work life balance, and protection from the unexpected.
