- W2 Contract-to-Hire, 6 Months
- This position is primarily remote. There is no set standard or frequency around working in the Reston, VA office. With that said, the selected candidate must be willing to come to the Reston, VA office once per month for PI planning efforts. Furthermore, the selected candidate must make themselves available to come to the office as needed.
Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Pega RPA Developer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex robotic process automation (RPA) solutions using the Pega platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, develop and maintain RPA workflows, and ensure the successful deployment and operation of Pega bots.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and implement Pega RPA solutions to automate complex business processes.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for Pega RPA development.
- Develop and maintain Pega RPA workflows, including the creation of bots, rules, and data models.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of Pega RPA solutions before deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Pega RPA bots and workflows.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Pega RPA features and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers on Pega RPA development techniques and methodologies.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to integrate Pega RPA solutions with existing systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Pega RPA development process.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor s degree and 5 years of experience in robotic process automation (RPA) development to include coding, testing, and debugging with experience using the C# language in a .NET environment.
- 2 years of proven, recent experience in Pega RPA development, including the design and implementation of complex automation solutions.
- Proven experience deploying solutions into Pega Robot Manager.
- Strong understanding of Pega platform architecture and components.
- Experience in managing and upgrading Pega servers.
- Proficient in creating new Pega bots within short timeframes.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Certified Pega RPA Developer and/or Certified Pega Robotics System Architect.
- Experience with other RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Robot Manager).
- Certified Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
